YOUR MISSION
American Crew FACE OFF is a competition to find the best men’s stylists in the UK. We are looking for a blend of modern hair looks, with a simple yet progressive and fashion focused edge.
Models, photography and overall look should reflect the man of today, without loosing sight of the timeless character that is undeniably ‘CREW’.

PRIZES
There will be 20 finalists and 3 winners nationally regardless of where you live i.e. there could be three winners from Scotland.

3 winners will win the following prizes:

• Return air fare and four nights accommodation in the US
• An exclusive photo shoot with David Raccuglia
• Editorial coverage with a leading men's magazine
• Photos and editorial coverage in trade magazines
• A ‘winner’ FACE OFF 09 plaque
• Plus loads of other stuff to be announced.

20 finalists will each be awarded with:

• Invite to the private winners event
• One years subscription to Men’s Health magazine
• 50 copies of the FACE OFF magazine for publicity and promotion materials
• A finalists FACE OFF 09 plaque
• Plus loads of other stuff to be announced.

ADDITIONAL PRIZE

• Asahi beer will sponsor the people’s choice award, and the winning stylist will get FREE beer for a year.
• There will be additional prizes for the photographers of the three winning entries and the peoples choice
• A leading model agency will be scouting your entries and one lucky model could be chosen for a years management by that agency.
  

MODEL PRIZE & INFORMATION
If you would like your model to be considered for THE MODEL AGENCY model prize, it is advisable that your model fits the following criteria, although it is not essential to win the FACE OFF section of the competition.

• THE MODEL AGENCY will only consider models for their prize that are not currently signed with an agency. However, this does not mean cannot be entered for the FACE OFF competition.
• Ideally your model’s height should be between 6’ and 6’ 3”, THE MODEL AGENCY will look favourably on models with good skin, hair, athletic physique and overall healthy appearance.

JUDGING
All entries will be display mounted by AMERICAN CREW

• All winners and finalists will be selected by David Raccuglia, President and founder of AMERICAN CREW and selected representatives from our FACE OFF sponsors. The winning model will be selected by the THE MODEL AGENCY.
• The “Peoples Choice” award will be voted by any attendee of exhibitions held in England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. (refer to rules and conditions)

HOW TO ENTER

1.Complete entry form and questionnaire
2.You can enter as many times as you like
(one entry form per entry)
3.All entries must be shot in Black and White
4.You must submit two 5 x 7 inch (127mm x 178mm) shots of the same model for each entry (portrait not landscape)

FRONT AND SIDE SHOTS ONLY (see examples below)


5.You must also include a CD with both images scanned side
by side. Please scan photographs at 100% of actual size
and at 300dpi. The scans must not be altered or
manipulated in any way.
6.A cheque payable to ICON must accompany the order form
or provide credit card details on the Entry Form. A receipt
will be emailed to you.
